Garmin Enduro 3
Best for: Ultra-distance events, expeditions and multi-day trips where charging access is limited.
The Enduro 3 is the strongest choice when battery endurance and outdoor navigation matter more than smartwatch apps. It is remarkably capable for long events, but its 51 mm case is large and it lacks the speaker, microphone and dive features found on the fēnix 8.
What works well
- Exceptional smartwatch and GPS battery claims
- Full-color maps and accurate multi-band positioning
- Lightweight for a large 51 mm expedition watch
Trade-offs to know
- Large fit is unsuitable for smaller wrists
- No dive-focused feature set
- Limited smart communication compared with Apple
Specification figures are manufacturer maximums. Actual battery, GPS and water performance depends on settings, conditions and use.
